Dr. Mogel will be one of four speakers participating in Wilshire Boulevard Temple’s Parenting Speakers Series, which will be held at their Audrey and Sydney Irmas Campus. The series will run from Tuesday December 2, 2008 to Thursday May 21, 2009, with each speaker presenting on a different day. Dr. Mogel will speak on January 29, 2009 and will discuss how parents can meet the challenge of raising self-reliant, optimistic children, in a nervous world.
The Audrey and Sydney Irmas Campus houses the Mann Family Early Childhood Center, Brawerman Elementary School, and the Gloria and Peter S. Gold Religious School/Center for Learning and Engagement.
