Dr. Wendy Mogel is an internationally known clinical psychologist and author of the New York Times bestselling parenting book, The Blessing of a Skinned Knee.
Her new book, The Blessing of a B Minus, will be released by Scribner on October 12, 2010.
A popular keynote speaker, she lectures widely at conferences, religious organizations and schools.
Dr. Mogel will be featured as the Scholar-in-Residence, at the Sunday Morning Live program, at Congregation B’nai B’rith. The event is sponsored by the Norbert and Charlotte Rieger Foundation. Dr. Mogel will discuss how parents can meet the challenge of raising self-reliant, optimistic children, in a nervous world. The morning will begin with breakfast at 8:45 AM and the lecture will begin at 9:45 AM.
