Dr. Mogel will give a speech at the Mittleman JCC, in Portland Oregon, sponsored by ParentMap.  She will discuss how parents can meet the challenge of raising self-reliant, optimistic children, in a nervous world.  The lecture will be followed by a book signing, where participants may purchase a signed copy of The Blessing of a Skinned Knee, if they would like.

This event is open to the public.
